She is also an active member of Pittsburgh Botanic Garden’s Emerging Leader’s Council, WIN Pittsburgh Chapter, PATSA (PA Tourettes Syndrome Alliance) and Elevate Pittsburgh Chapter. As a Registered Representative and an Investment Advisor Representative, Jamie holds a series 7 and 66 securities license.
Jamie graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Penn State University. As a Pittsburgh Native and resident of the South Hills, Jamie, her husband Jason and their three children enjoy spending time together fishing, ice skating, swimming and working together on various projects.

Since 1967, the Autism Society of Pittsburgh has been the local action unit of the Autism Society of America, the foremost voice and resource of the nation’s autism community. We are comprised of volunteers, parents and professionals, working on behalf of all children and those of adult age on the autism spectrum. Our objective is to improve the lives of those with autism and related disorders of behavior and communication. A portion of the events proceeds will go towards this wonderful foundation and member of the South West Communities Chamber of Commerce.

The Meals On Wheels program is designed to help individuals who are home bound or are unable to prepare their own nutritious meals regularly.

Meals on Wheels operates in virtually every community in America through our network of more than 5,000 independently-run local programs. While the diversity of each program’s services and operations may vary based on the needs and resources of their communities, they are all committed to supporting their senior neighbors to live healthier and more nourished lives in their own homes.
At the core of the Meals on Wheels service is a nutritious meal, companionship and a watchful eye on the health and safety of our seniors. Regional Update with Senator Pam Iovino
Join us as we welcome Senator Pam Iovino on an upcoming South West Communities Chamber of Commerce webinar to discuss updates for both businesses and the community from a local, regional and state perspective regarding the green phase and what it means to our area. The South West Communities Chamber is dedicated to bringing our members and the surrounding community updates to help guide our businesses through the changing climate of our region.
About Senator Pam Iovino:
Senator Pam Iovino was sworn in on April 29, 2019 to represent the 37th State Senatorial District, which includes parts of Allegheny and Washington Counties in Southwestern Pennsylvania. She has dedicated her life to public service, serving 23 years in the U.S. Navy and representing veterans at the federal and local levels prior to her election to the Pennsylvania Senate.
After receiving a commission from Officer Candidate School and graduating with distinction in 1980, her Navy service included tours as a Missile Maintenance Officer, Manpower Analyst, Anti-terrorism Intelligence Watch Officer, Network Warfare Program Manager, Congressional Liaison, and four Commanding officer assignments, including the Naval and Marine Corps Reserve Center Pittsburgh. Her military awards include the Legion of Merit Medal, Meritorious Service Medal (3 awards), Navy Commendation Medal, Navy Achievement Medal, National Defense Service Medal (2 awards), and the Armed Forces Reserve Medal.
Senator Iovino attained the rank of Captain and retired from the Navy in 2003 upon nomination by President George W. Bush to serve as Assistant Secretary for Congressional Affairs at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). She was unanimously confirmed by the U.S. Senate to serve at the VA, where she was the chief advocate for all legislative matters on Capitol Hill for our Nation’s 25 million veterans.
Senator Iovino returned to Western Pennsylvania in 2009 as an Adjunct Professor at Robert Morris University. In 2017, she became Director of Veterans’ Services for Allegheny County.
Senator Iovino is a graduate of Leadership Pittsburgh and has served as a Board Member of the Veterans Leadership Program of Western Pennsylvania and as a member of the Governor’s Women Veterans Committee. She currently serves on the Pennsylvania Commission for Women, the Special Education Funding Commission, the Council for the Arts, the Emergency Management Council, and the 911 Advisory Board.
Senator Iovino has a bachelor’s degree in political science from Gettysburg College (1978) and a master’s degree in National Security & Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College (1992). She serves as the Democratic Chair of the Senate Veterans Affairs & Emergency Preparedness Committee and sits on the Committees on Appropriations; Communications & Technology; Community, Economic & Recreational Development; and Labor & Industry. She was born and raised in the Borough of Whitehall, PA in the 37th District, and currently resides in Mt. Lebanon, PA.
