Kristie has practiced as a psychotherapist for 25 years and is passionate about serving others. Currently, she is a Clinic Director at Ellie Mental Health in the Upper St. Clair-Pittsburgh location.

She is trained in Complex Trauma Treatment, EMDR, CBT, and DBT. Additionally, Kristie is passionate in the care of those who struggle with chronic suicidal ideation or lost a loved one to suicide.

Kristie is also a best-selling author, a professional speaker, and founder/CEO of iRise — a 501(c)3 non-profit that aims to eradicate suicide in communities through various trainings and services surrounding suicide prevention and awareness.

Finally, Kristie is a native of Pittsburgh with two children, Madalyn is 23 and Kamron is 22.
